Warranty

We take great care when packaging your items. We visually inspect every item prior to shipment to ensure they are in perfect condition. That's right: humans look closely your stylish Vice-Roy sunnies and confirm they are suitable to send to you, our important customer. Items that don't pass this quality review are not shipped.  Should you find your item to be defective in some way, please contact us immediately via the "Contact Us" link on this website.

If your item is genuinely defective, our warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. If 12 months have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Returns & Exchanges 

This one's serious, so we're gonna use our grown-up voices. AHEM...If you buy something you don't end up liking (e.g. size, color, fit, etc.), you have what marketing people call "buyer's remorse." Please choose your pieces carefully as we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind after the item has been shipped.

Great care is taken to ensure that all items listed are described and photographed as accurately as possible to show the details of each piece. Please ensure you read the listing properly, noting dimensions and colours. 

By purchasing an item from this shop, it is assumed that you have read and understand the item description, information provided on the production and shipping times pages, and agree with the terms and conditions. Please note that the appearance of colours may vary between computer screens.

Gift cards are exempt from return or exchange.

What's that? You didn't mean to order the thing that you ordered?

Well...you'd better hurry, because our minions kick into action as soon as you hit the order button. You might only get an hour or so to tell us to stop. Contact us ASAP to cancel the order.

Refunds (if applicable)

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

What's that, you didn't get the refund? (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us using the "Contact Us" link on this website.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send contact us using the site contact form.

Gifts

First of all, how cool was the person that gave you those sweet sunnies? What a champ!

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.  Maybe tell them first so they don't get a surprise?

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Australian Consumer Law

Vice-Roy operates under Australian Consumer Law. Any warranties stated above are equal-to, or in addition to Australian Consumer Law.
